UPLIFT is TECwomen’s flagship training programme, created to break down barriers and support women and underrepresented genders in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to thrive in the digital and tech sector. Whether you're starting out, changing direction, or levelling up - UPLIFT is here to help you grow.
What is UPLIFT?
UPLIFT is an inclusive and flexible training programme with courses and workshops designed to help women thrive. We focus on core skills for career development including digital skills, cyber security, AI skills, and support for female founders. It’s here to support your career development and help you feel more confident in an ever more technical world. Since launching in 2022, the programme has supported hundreds of women to discover new possibilities and take the next step in their careers.
You don’t need a tech background
Many of our participants have never worked in a technical role before. Some are returning to work, some are pivoting from other industries, and many simply want to build their confidence. If you’ve ever felt like your "not techie" or that you’re not qualified to even try, you’re not alone and we are here to help. All of our courses are aimed at women taking their first steps and we've worked hard to build a supportive, safe, and confidence building community.
