About digitalUPLIFT
(and TECwomen CIC)
digitalUPLIFT is run by TECwomen CIC, a community interest company that provides support, training, and a community for women who work (or want to work) in Technology, Engineering and Creative digital industries.
The digitalUPLIFT programme was created in 2022 with Truro and Penwith College with the aims of helping more people move into digital and tech roles.

TECwomen have received funding to run digitalUPLIFT as part of the Digital Futures Partnership, managed by Truro & Penwith College, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This has allowed us to dramatcially expand the project, offering new updated lessons, a new learning platform, additional support, and new digital UPLIFT courses for teachers.

TECwomen also run the award-winning TECgirls Project, working with children as young as 4 to help ignite a love for all things TEC. This includes running workshops in schools. This experience is what has helped TECwomen develop the digital UPLIFT Teachers program with support from primary school curriculum experts.

Connecting training with jobs.
A key benefit of the digitalUPLIFT course is the connection to real highly skilled digital and tech jobs across Cornwall and the South West. Thank you to all our sponsors who advised on the courses and are working with us to help women move into these high-demand roles.
